Base game

Bar billiards on your screen: eight tables, each with its own rules. The Hungarian rex, three English tables (the official AEBBA table and two four-pin variants), the French billard russe, and three reconstructed continental tables: Swiss, Italian and Serbian. Themes and cups on top, plus a team league and the seven regions of Rexland as extra content.

Controls

Welcome to the table! Use the cue ball to send the other balls into the holes. Every hole has its own value: the points are shown next to the holes.

Shooting: put your finger on the cue ball, pull back and let go. The further you pull, the harder the shot.

Mind the mushrooms and pins: knock one over and you lose points. If you only touch one lightly, it wobbles and stands back up - that is no foul.

Switching tables: while no match is running, swipe up or down on the table - or pick one in the settings. There are eight tables, each with its own rules.

The ▶ Play button starts a match against the computer right away. During a match the same button lets you resign.

The Menu holds the cups, the shop, the daily tasks, the settings and Help.

Pub cup

A quick cup every hour: 4 players, semi-final and final against beginners and advanced players. You pick the kind of table, and each kind of table has its own pubs and relics.

Bar billiards: 3 minutes per match; a draw goes to whoever reached the score first.

Every pub has its own relic, and the cup winner takes it home. If someone else wins there later, they take it from you; win again and you keep it. The pub’s page shows who holds it now.

A won cup is worth 3 tokens (2 if you used the bank line or shook the table). A win in a country’s pubs also opens that country’s shelf in the shop. A new cup starts every hour, and you can ask for a notification.

Shop

The Shop is in the Menu, in the Pub group. Everything costs tokens, which you win by playing: they cannot be bought for money. On sale: cues, balls, pegs, cloths for the table, records for the jukebox, avatar pieces (hats, backgrounds), the bank line and the table shake (you switch these on at the table), a replay of your finest shots, and a drink that brings back reputation. Tap an item to see it up close; you can listen to a record before you buy it. What you buy goes with you to every table: you pick it in your profile, under Items. On the Pubs tab every country has its own row, which opens once you win a pub cup in one of its pubs. In Rexland every region has its own shop.

Avatar

Your avatar is your face at the table, in the cups and on your profile card. You set it in Menu › You › Profile: tap your portrait. In the editor you choose skin, hairstyle, hair colour, eyes, mouth, beard, moustache, glasses, hat, shirt, earrings and background; Random makes a surprise face. Plenty of pieces are there from the start, and more can be earned: the shop sells hats, frames, earrings and backgrounds, the Pubs rows offer their own after a pub cup win, and every Rexland region has a themed hat to win. Earned pieces wear a small gold star ★ in the editor.

Theme

You pick the theme in Settings › Sound & display, in the Theme row. It only changes the look and the sound: the game plays the same on every table. Basic and Pub are free, the Competition pack adds two themes of its own, and in Rexland you earn a region’s theme by beating everyone there, its lord included; on the Rexland map the region always shows its own theme. Every theme hides a secret event with its own achievement. The theme cannot be changed during a cup match.
